~Speaking for Him~

The women's conference on April 2 at Rock Crossing Church was an amazing event. Jeremiah 31:3, "I have loved you with an everlasting love, I have drawn you with loving-kindness", was the theme. Judy Underwood and Kristi Exum led the ladies in worship and Jo Reimer shared her incredible testimony. I spoke over the chosen passage. Each of us needs to be reminded of the Father's everlasting love for us and how the Spirit draws us daily, nearer to Him as our relationship deepens with the Lord.

The next week on April 9, I was blessed with the opportunity to speak at the Ladies' Spring Conference in Levelland, Texas at the First Baptist Church. The focus of the event was Proverbs 37:4, "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart!" Real joy comes into our lives when His desires become our desires. Delight in Him, His creation, His word, His Son.

As opportunities to speak become available, I stand in awe of God who wants to speak through me words of faith and encouragement into the lives of women. My prayer is that my words will be His words and that they will see the Father and not see me.

Just as the creator breathes life into Spring, may you also go and breathe life into others through your words and actions. Blessings to you!

~Spring Fever~

Welcome to the time of the year when winter fades and spring arrives! Spring, new life, came earlier for me this year. On January 7, my life was made richer with the birth of my first grandchild, Jocelyn Paige Hilton. I was blessed to be present at her birth. As I watched Sarah hold her, she spoke these words lovingly to her newborn daughter, "I have waited a long time to meet you! You came out of me!" Isn't this true of our Father in heaven when we come to Him. He holds us and says, "I have wanted to meet you! You are a part of me!"

The love that I feel in my heart for this precious baby girl is unbelievable. Yet I know that my Father in heaven loves me even more! Thank you Lord for the gift of spring and new life! You are the mighty creator!
